  36.     Nothing much. "Erasing" characters is not a one-byte command
  37. situation, though that may be all you send to the remote host. The host
  38. maniuplates the cursor and writes over old bytes with spaces etc, depending
  39. on the host and terminal emulation and all that jazz. Kermit isn't that
  40. remote host operating system. May I suggest leaving matters alone and
  41. letting the host control your screen as it was intended to?
